Let's be real; being a woman is hard, especially in today's climate.
Things are different- far different than they have ever been before.
Maybe you're a working mom feeling torn between your two worlds. Or, a SAHM feeling pigeon-holed into one. You might be a mom struggling with your little one's behaviors, trying every resource accessible to you to manage them. Or, perhaps you are longing to be a mom, and feeling othered and deflated because you don't feel as if you belong in any of those categories.
Regardless, there's something inherently female about it all, isn't there?

Seeking support is not an easy step. In truth, it is incredibly difficult. Yet, here you are, doing that very thing.
Me? I have a passion for supporting individuals and families through some of life's more challenging moments.
This passion has led me to more focused trainings on childhood development and reproductive and perinatal mental health. Over the past 10 years, I have taken a special interest in Play Therapy and Expressive Art Modalities, as well as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Grief Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
From this, I have developed an affinity for working with children and their caretakers to better understand and regulate a wide variety of experiences and emotions. For the parent, I can guide you to a better understanding of the science behind behaviors. In addition, l will provide you with take-home-tools to encourage your child's growth and your relationship with your child.
But, my desire to support the family system does not stop at the parent-child relationship. It actually pre-dates it. I am here to support you in those critical days before the parent-child relationship is established. This is during your fertility and perinatal seasons. Expanding your family can be challenging and anxiety-provoking. Sometimes there can be a whirlwind of emotions experienced by each partner- whether that is due to difficulties with infertility, navigating loss, or moving through the prenatal and postpartum transitions.
As we work together, I will strategically pull from the different modalities I have dedicated my practice to in order to ensure I meet you were you are at.
